Usually at the age of 18, young men of Yao minority nationality in Jin Xiu Yao Mountain area will attend a ceremony called Du Jie. According to Yao's customs, only after having Du Jie, can young men be regarded as adults. Du Jie is held during Pan Wang Festival, which used to containing items such as climbing knives mountains, walking through fire and so on. Now these items have been reduced to one test: Jumping Cloud Platform.

　　" cloud platform " is a square dais about 4 meters high. When a young man climbs up the "cloud platform", the seniors of the village will express their good wishes to them. After that, the young man jump off the platform and people will carry him to walk circling the cloud platform 3 times.
